While it is difficult to say exactly what the favourite Disney charms are, there are some that seem to be requested for and sold more often than others.  Of course, the well known characters sell extremely well.  Mickey and Minnie Chamilia beads are always a hit.  There are different styles of Mickey Mouse charms.  Both Mickey and Minnie are represented in a Sterling Silver solid charm,  and a 14k gold charm.  The Chamilia sterling silver Disney engraved Mickey Mouse bead is particularly popular. The familiar icon cut outs of Mickey are found in Silver and in Gold. There are also both gold and silver spacers featuring a Mickey Mouse cutout icon.  If you like dangling charms, you can find a sterling silver dangling Mickey’s hand charm or a silver Mickey and Minnie double charm with a small silver heart dangling from it. There is also a whole set of Disney glass bead charms featuring the Mickey Mouse icon.

Another all-time favourite is, believe it or not, grumpy old Eeyore. For some reason the Eeyore Chamilia charms are a real hit!  The Eeyore charms for Chamilia bracelets come in gold, silver and a mixture of both silver with a little gold added. The Eeyore silver charm bead shows poor old Eeyore in his familiar pose, with head drooped a little and a sad little expression on his face, which the bead captures perfectly!  The same bead is available, with Eeyore sporting a gold bow on his tail instead of a silver bow.  When it comes to the Eeyore charm Chamilia has done a great job of capturing his personality!

Another favourite is Tigger. Bouncy Tigger also looks great on any Chamilia Charm bracelet. In fact there are a whole slew of Winnie the Pooh characters represented. Aside from Tigger charm beads, Pooh Bear himself makes an appearance a couple of times as does Piglet.  There is a full body Winnie the Pooh and just Winnie’s head, all in Sterling Silver. Sterling silver Piglet looks like he is standing and waving. There is also a Winnie the Pooh dangle. If you are looking for gold Disney charms, the best as far as the Pooh Bear selection is a Silver Winnie the Pooh with a gold honeypot.

If you love hanging or dangling charms, there are quite a few available in the Disney selection.  The Chamilia hanging Disney charms feature Mickey’s hand, as mentioned above, and a duo Mickey and Minnie with a small heart dangling down.  Aside from those, you can also find a dangling Tinkerbell in both gold and silver, which is my favourite Disney charm.  There is a small silver Mickey Mouse dangle, a silver Winnie the Pooh dangle, a silver Cinderella’s slipper dangle, and an Eeyore with butterfly dangle.  The dangle beads are a great addition for any Chamilia bracelet.

In summary, the Mickey Mouse beads for Pandora are among some of the favourite, with Minnie Mouse Chamilia beads not far behind.  After that, it seems that the Pooh Bear set are also amongst some of the favourites.  Dangling beads are not far behind, with Tinkerbell also in big demand.

There’s no ‘right’ way to collect and wear your Chamilia charms.  Some women like to start of with a completed Chamilia charm bracelet right away, with it neatly planned out and perfectly color coordinated. Other women enjoy the actual collecting the charms more than the finished product it seems, and they take great delight in adding a charm here and there, whenever a special or momentous event happens in their life that they feel is worthy of remembering.  These women love to receive a significant charm too on their birthdays, or on other important occasions.

With over six hundred Chamilia Charms to choose from, you should be easily able to come up with some that fit your budget. Prices vary, but a simple silver bead will cost you somewhere around $28. Silver beads with a stone set on them cost more, and depending on the actual stone you could end up paying close to $50 for a bead. Not all the Chamilia beads are made from precious metal though. You can also buy murano glass beads, which cost up to $35, or enamel beads which range in price from around $25 to $40, depending on the design and whether they include semi-precious stones.

There is also a huge variety of designs available. One of the more famous lines is their Disney Charms, which feature various Disney characters in Silver, Gold or a combination of both. They have Chamilia beads in the food and drink category, special holiday and Christmas charms, animal charms, birthstone charms, and charms that represent different hobbies, such as different balls, hats, ballet shoes, etc.

New Chamilia beads are constantly being released, at least a couple of times a year. These are usually seasonal releases.  These charms can be very easily bought online, and there is also a fairly brisk trade on on-line auction sites of second hand or new charms which are often sold for cheaper than you can buy in other situations.

Every Chamilia Charm Bracelet is unique and it would be very rare indeed to find someone with exactly the same bracelet as you have.  This is because it is very personally designed and made by individuals.  You can also switch beads around depending on the outfit you are wearing or how you are feeling that day.  With a little creativity, you can wear a new look bracelet every day, just by mixing your Chamilia charms around.

If you are able to afford it, completed Chamilia charm bracelets are an ideal gift, although it does end up being quite costly to not only buy the bracelet, but then to add a good amount of Chamilia beads to it as well.  One idea that works well is to give a gift of a starter bracelet. In other words,  buy a bracelet and add a few Chamilia charms onto it, so it doesn’t look bare or empty.   It would cost you somewhere around $120 for a bracelet with three silver charms, for example.  If you wanted to go with gold you would end up spending quite a bit more, naturally, although if within your budget the gold charms are very nice.

In some ways beginning with just the bracelet and a few Chamilia beads is the safest way to go when buying a gift for someone. That way you don’t have to decide on the entire design yourself, but you can instead simply buy some charms that you think the recipient would like and then let them choose the rest for themselves, as they are able to.  You can start off with a silver and gold charm, with a murano bead inbetween, for example. Or if you have a special shared memory, you could try to buy a Chamilia bead that would represent that memory and place that on the bracelet.

It is often much easier if the person already has a Chamilia Bead bracelet, as you can simply add to their bracelet buy buying a charm or two that you think they would like.  That will also end up being a lot less expense on your part too.  Just make sure, if you do that, that you know what sort of Chamilia charms she already has so you don’t end up buying her the same charm. If possible, try to find out if there is a special Chamilia bead that she is hoping to add to her existing bracelet, and buy that for her.

I first learned about the Chamilia charm selection when one of my daughters bought her sister one for her twenty-first birthday.  She actually managed to save up and buy a bracelet, complete with about ten charms on it already. She selected specific Chamilia beads that she knew would be meaningful for her sister, and I think it was the best gift she had ever received.  You should have seen her expression of joy when she opened up the jewelry box and saw the bracelet.

Since then, different ones in our family have made it a practice to add to her bracelet whenever we need to buy her a gift. She has quite a collection now, which she is very glad to have as it allows her to mix and match her Chamilia beads, depending on the outfit she is wearing, or what she is going to do.

Prices for the Disney Chamila beads range according to the design and the material that they are made from. Naturally, the all gold charms are the most expensive of all.  The solid gold Mickey Mouse head would set you back a neat $390, while the gold Mickey cut out only costs $190.  Gold Tinkerbell is currently retailing for a modest $220.  If you are content to go with the silver charms with gold pieces, Pooh with his gold  honey pot only costs $75, and Eeyore with his gold bow only $46.

The silver Disney Chamilia charms begin at $28, with prices going up to $46 for a charm featuring both Mickey and Minnie together on the one bead.  The silver charms with the Mickey face gem style cost $36, as do the Murano beads with the Mickey face.

If you would like to add a little fun and light heartedness to your Chamilia Charm bracelets, adding a Disney Chamilia charm to it should accomplish that purpose!

With the vast array of charm bracelets available these days, there’s very stiff competition amongst the different charm bracelet designers.  There is no refuting the fact that Pandora and Trollbead bracelets are at the cutting edge of design, but Chamilia bracelets offer an exciting variation to these style of bracelets, though they can’t be considered to be cheap jewelry online by any means. Each bead is hand crafted and hand designed, and there are charms for every occasion. The Chamilia charms jewelry is meant to celebrate special and monumental occasions, with specific charms added to commemorate each special event–whether it is travel, or school, the birth of a baby, or a wedding.

Chamilia Charms bracelets are similar to pandora and trollbead bracelets.  They too have beautiful, hand-crafted and designed charms that fit onto bracelets. There are gold, silver, and murano glass beads. Chamilia charms will fit on a Pandora bracelet, and vice versa. They will also fit the Trollbead bracelet and Italian charm bracelet.

So, you ask, what is different.  Of course, as with all variations of charm bracelets the difference is in the chamilia charms themselves. One set of charms that is sure to delight the younger folks is the Disney set. There is a total of 48 Disney beads, each one compatible with all contemporary bead bracelets! There’s the infamous Mickey Mouse in gold, silver, gold and silver, murano glass, gold and diamond, silver/swarovski in different colors.

Bestsellers from the Disney  collection are Eyore, Tinkerbell, Nemo, Minnie Mouse, Tigger and the Pumpkin Carriage.  There are 48 beads in total.  And yes, there’s Piglet and castles and even the cheshire cat!  Let’s not forget Cinderella’s slipper, or Donald Duck!  I’m sorry, I forgot Pinocchio and Miss Piggy…and Daisy Duck. That must be the whole Mickey Mouse cast right there!

Chamilia charms are cute, there’s no question about that. But can they live up to the popularity of trollbeads and pandora charms?  Maybe not. But they are wonderful charms, and with more creative production and better promotion they could very easily rival the popularity of the other major players in the charm bracelet league.

They have a few things going for them that the other bracelets don’t. For example, they tout the fact that Chamilia locks can be placed anywhere on the bracelet, apparently that’s something that Pandora beads can’t do.

In summary I think the Chamilia Charms have some very interesting and potentially high-retail value beads but in my opinion their promotion needs to be more aggressive if they want to match the popularity of the Pandora or Troll beads.
